It is day 7 of the 10 Days of Wellness programme and today we have 3 tasks to complete.
1 – take a 45 minute walk outdoors today. You’ll notice we have gradually increased our time outside this last week and this is our longest walk so far. Being outdoors in the fresh air is so good for us and walking without a phone is like a moving meditation. Enjoy it particularly if the sun is shining where you are.
2 – let’s take a moment to feel some gratitude today. At the moment this may feel particularly tough, but there is a lot of evidence that gratitude activities can have a positive impact on mindset. So make a cup of tea and sit thinking a little while of what you are grateful for right now and put some down on paper so you have something tangible to show for it.
3 – finally let’s repeat our breath work activity, sit with one hand on your chest, one on your stomach. Close your eyes and take 20 conscious breaths. Just focus on your breathing and the sensation of connection to to the Earth with every exhale.
