Saturday was a busy day. Steve and I met in the morning to run the 10Km race together. The course was 3 laps in Regents Park and I really enjoyed it. My pace was pretty good. I did have a few little walking breaks because my legs were a little tired from the run the day before but overall it was a good race.
Our chip time was 1:01:47 which is a 10Km PB for this year and just under a minute slower than the PB last year. For only 3 weeks of really getting back to running consistently I was chuffed with this.
I am definitely going to get a sub 60 minute 10Km soon. After the race I met Giles for lunch and we went to see an exhibition at the Barbican before heading back south to go to a Yin class. It was deeply relaxing and a perfect stretch after the run.
A great way to spend a weekend I thought.
