Yesterday I forgot to update you on my 66 day challenge.
I had a good day. At the gym I did a leg and glute workout followed by 30 minutes of hill walking on the treadmill. My motivation to get to the gym, having worn my gym kit all day, was that I was feeling really irritable and hoped that the exercise would help.
Then I went to Yin at 21:15 and figured I would sleep amazingly afterwards but instead was wide awake till almost 3am.
The Yin class was incredible yet again, but I am working through some lower back issues so, after stretching my back for an hour, when I got into bed my back was giving me a lot of discomfort.
I also get woken by the cats every morning at around 5. This has been one of the worst nights sleep I have had in ages.
The problem with rubbish sleep is it negatively impacts my motivation to exercise. I am off to France again today for the rest of the week and could really have done with a decent nights sleep.
