Woo-hoo day 7. A whole week of exercising every day for my happiness, for my mind and body. What a great start to the year.
I’ve been focussing on the running and the yoga as these are the key challenges I want to accomplish this month, but I am also aware that these alone are not the key to having happy days. As I reflect on this week I know that I need to be doing more for myself than just the exercise, I think I will start next week with a to-do list so that I am doing a little something every day that gives me a positive experience for my happy life project.
I ran 2Km again today and did a 60 minute hot yoga class. I didn’t want to push it as I am running a 10Km tomorrow morning. Yes, another morning run. I don’t even know who I am anymore!!
I’m a little anxious about the race tomorrow morning which is dumb as I ran 10Km on 1st Jan, so it isn’t outside the realms of possibility that I can run the distance.
Happiness today has come in the form of finally finding the charger from my Garmin which I have been looking for all week. It was in a pile of crap waiting to be tidied away – of course.
So race day tomorrow. First one of the year. Off to get some sleep and will update you tomorrow!
