I’m having such a great month! Totally nailing my fitness plans, my Uni work, my diet is great and I feel fab.
I’m not even joking.
Since the last blog my exercise has been as follows:
7th: 75 minute Bikram which was super hot and I loved every minute.
8th: Legs and cardio home workout for 30 minutes and 7.24Km run (4.5 miles) in 46:40.
10th: 90 minute hot vinyasa flow
11th: LISS walk of 20 minutes, arms and abs workout at home for 30 minutes, 45 minute walk and 75 minute Bikram in the evening. This was another incredible class.
On Saturday 12th I was due to run 8 miles and DID NOT WANT TO. I sat around in my gym kit all day and eventually when I was going to go it started raining so I bailed on it. I definitely just need to get up and leave for my long run before I think too much about it. Instead I want to Yin for 75 minutes.
13th: I followed my advice; got up and after a small bite to eat I went and did my 8mile run. I found it pretty hard. I was just feeling so tired, even by 7Km it was quite the effort to keep going and get through it. I finished in 1:27:05.
I was pleased to get through it and went to Yin afterwards which was a perfect post-run treat to stretch all my muscles.
Afterwards I had a lovely lunch with some girls from yoga and it was just the most wonderful afternoon of talking, laughing, eating and relaxing.
Then on Monday I was still feeling shattered so decided to get a vitamin B12 booster. I did a home arms an abs workout but that was all.
Today I have felt so much better, so much more alert. I think it’s the B12 shot. This evening I went to a 75 min flow class. I should have run 5 miles (8.05Km) today but I was doing uni work so I had to go after flow.
I don’t know if flow was just the perfect warm up but the run was so easy and totally manageable. (Maybe also the B12).
Anyway I ran 9Km in the end in 56.06.
If you remember I ran 9Km on 3rd Jan and it took 1:01:39 so today was 5 and a half minutes faster! So feeling pretty chuffed with that.
I even had therapy today and was just like ‘yep, everything is good’!
So I’m just going to say…….
