Day two of intermittent fasting and today I managed to get my exercise back on track. I started the day with 5 rounds of sun salutations prior to breaking my 16 hour fast.
In the evening I went to Bikram yoga, and I think it was one of the first 90 minute classes I have done in a while, but I totally loved it. It was hot and hard, but I felt strong and flexible. The frequent sun salutations I think really help my practice.
I can’t believe how quickly this challenge is flying by. I haven’t seen much weight change recently, but as I stood looking in the mirror in the yoga studio yesterday I thought that I looked more toned. It is very unusual for me to see and appreciate positive change in my body due to body dysmorphia.
The other day I found the shorts I wore when I did the London Marathon and they are TINY. It is amazing that I just didn’t recognise how I looked, how my body had changed. So I have taken some body measurements so that even if my weight isn’t changing I will be able to recognise how my body changes.
