On Friday I was going to be travelling to Glasgow after work for one of my lovely friend’s Hen Party. I was working in Warrington Friday and I would have a 3 hour train journey after work to get to the Hen House.
I did 5 rounds of sun salutations in my hotel room in the morning and I really enjoyed doing more rounds than I have all week.
By practicing in the morning I didn’t have to worry myself about having to do something later in the day so I could just arrive and enjoy the party. I can begin to appreciate why people try and get their workout done first thing to free them up for the day.
I had a weekend of drinking and partying ahead of me, so if I could just do one round of sun salutations on Saturday and Sunday that would be achieveable.
I still want to sit and plan my activity for May. I’m feeling a mental shift towards trying to exercise more in the mornings. I just need to figure out how I can fit this in without compromising my much needed sleep.
