Welcome to Day 9 of the 10 Days of Wellness. I hope you are finding time to participate in the tasks and that they are allowing you to feel rested and rejuvenated.
Today we are going to complete the activity on temperament and tomorrow we will complete the full VITAL Signs reflection piece.
Your 3 activities today are:
1 – practice some yoga. You may already be a practitioner, or yoga may be something you’ve been thinking of trying but never got round to. It may feel a challenge at the moment as the yoga studios may be closed where you are – I have certainly been struggling to maintain my practice during Covid. But there are great ways to do classes online, such as @yoga_mapp where teachers are reviewed and classes booked from the Yoga Mapp website, so you can search for different teachers and yoga types in one place. Practicing with a yoga teacher is a great place to start as they know best how to guide your body, and in partnership with Yoga Mapp we are offering 10% off your first class by using the code ‘yogamapptrial’ at checkout.
2 – You may be familiar with Myers -Briggs or other personality tests. These are going to form the basis of our temperament section today. I’m going to post about this separately, so keep an eye out for that this morning.
3 – Enjoy a relaxing face-pack. Rest up this evening with a face-pack on. You may have one knocking around in the house, but if not you can easily make one out of some household ingredients. An easy one is to grind some porridge oats (about 50g) down in the nutribullet-style blender until it is fine, and then add a little water until it becomes a paste. You may like to add some drops of essential oils, tea tree is great for this. Then apply to a freshly washed and dried face, sit for 10 mins and wash off. Make sure you moisturise well after too.
I hope you take the opportunity to do these activities and trial out the yoga classes available on Yoga Mapp.
