Run.
I ran 2Km when I got to the hotel despite the overwhelming need to sleep. I was so tired but this challenge has really got me to prioritise exercise even when I don’t want to.
So, despite feeling like getting straight into bed I ran and I really did feel better for it.
This morning, in advance of our European Sales Meeting I got to the gym for my penultimate run of the Run Every Day challenge.
Last night I added up all the runs I had done this month and it transpires that am just shy of 100Km, in fact I had 7.46Km left to do to meet that target. So this morning I ran 5.46Km so I can have a nice easy 2Km tomorrow for my final one.
Who would have believed that with a little effort I could have achieved so much this January? But it isn’t time to get complacent and that is why I have also planned to complete a minimum of 10 yoga classes a month and run a medal winning race each month too.
Just one run to go to complete my January challenge and I am looking forward to keeping up the running and yoga this year. I like the change I’m seeing in myself.
