I have just realised that some of you may only be tuning back in to hear about the pom poms, so I had better mention them before I head off to bed. Sorry to keep you in suspense!
I bought 2 really nice cushions for our sofa a while back. They are exquisite bright colours and I totally love them. They had tiny little pom poms around the trim which inadvertently kept getting got ripped off because they were too small and only held on by a thin thread.
my happy life project is not just about exercise, but about doing things that make me happy, and one of my intentions is to be more creative.
So, I have been punctuating my evenings with making new, bigger pom poms for the cushions. I have a total of 44 to make, and so far I have done 8. Clearly I’ve not done that many but the process is so satisfying. You just wind wool round a little contraption, cut through the wool at the right point, tie some wool round the middle and hey presto! Pom poms!
